In order to improve the environmental management of Andorra, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment of the Principality of Andorra opened the Centre Andorra Sostenible (CAS) in 2003: Andorra’s eco-centre for sustainability.
The centre aims to contribute towards creating a sustainable development strategy in Andorra, to carry out campaigns to raise awareness, to inform and educate citizens on sustainable development, etc. Additionally, the centre plays a strategic role in coordinating economic sectors, administrations and NGOs with sustainable development initiatives.
The centre’s specific services are:
Assessment in sustainability, environmental education and environmental management systems for educational centres.
Assessment and resources for other entities and companies
