lavola has implemented a management system of quality, environment and security and health that covers all its activities, products and services it offers. The company has been certified under the quality normative UNE-EN-ISO 9001:2008, UNE-EN-ISO 14001:2004 of environment, and has incorporated, in its operating practices, requirements of the SA8000 of social responsibility, the Green Book of the European Union and the OSHAS 18001 of work prevention risks.
Regarding the activities, products and services developed in the company’s Manlleu office, there is another certification of the energetic management system UNE 16001:2009.
Mitigation and adaptation plan against climate change
In today’s global society the threat of climate change is one of the largest challenges facing all the economic sectors, due to shared responsibility. For this reason, and as an organization that works to offer sustainable services, lavola has a mitigation and adaptation plan against climate change that allows the management of the risks and related opportunities, adapting to future scenarios and contributing to the reduction of lavola’s activities to the global warming.
Since 2009, lavola became a carbon neutral company according to the e)mission neutral certified, that shows the company offset 100% of its emissions through the purchase of carbon emission credits certified by the Gold Standard.
