Corporate social responsibility (CSR) is a way of understanding business from a viewpoint that goes beyond economic results. CSR involves working for a constant improvement through responsible management of the economic, social and environmental aspects of the organisation, always taking into account the expectancies of the stakeholders.
In 2003, lavola carried out a social responsibility diagnosis to be in line with the values that the company has been developing since its inception. The diagnosis led to the creation of the company’s Social Responsibility Plan and the incorporation of thepolicy criteria, coming from the organisational management and also from the daily practices.
The working lines described in the plan are:
Preservation of the environment
Client orientation
Prioritising the human team
Local community involvement
Local companies, providers and partners involvement
Monitoring and control of the Plan’s implementation to guarantee a constant improvement.
